TURKISH DE LIGHT- A Lighting Design Workshop

The workshop was intended to give students a broad overview of the design/development process with tangible results till the creation of a completely custom lamp.

The workshop gave an understanding of designing a lighting fixture, understanding its complexities and technical issues (optical+mechanical+thermal+electrical) through a holistic approach to the design and prototyping of a Bamboo based luminaire. Each participant had the opportunity to create then own prototype, understanding the assembling process and the technical processes.
